About Us

Journalism is a mission—a means to spread positivity in society, a message of protest against injustice, a medium of friendship, an effort to inform and encourage people, a path to helping humanity. It provides guidance to students, allows elders to share their wisdom, and serves as a platform for both new and experienced writers. Journalism is a commitment to serving the nation and the community.

With these principles in mind, we started the Urdu daily "Tameer" twenty-five years ago. From the very beginning, we were fortunate to have dedicated companions such as d binAhme Aboud, Mubarak Kapdi, Qazi Mushir, M. Naag, Zafar Khan Naaz, Siraj Aarzu, Javed Pasha, Umair Saleem, Ejaz Ali, and Abdul Rahim. Together, we persevered through challenging times and continued our journey despite all odds.

Beed is a district where Urdu has flourished not only due to its native speakers but also with the love and support of our non-Muslim brothers. Families such as the Munde family of Parli, the Shirsagar family of Beed, the Solanke brothers of Manjlegaon, and the Pandit community of Gevrai have played a significant role in promoting Urdu.

The Shirsagar family, Sushila Murale , and Subhash Sarda have even established their own Urdu schools, creating employment opportunities for many individuals through this language.

Urdu literature and poetry have always been close to the hearts of political leaders from all parties. Last year, during the Dussehra rally in Savargaon, Pankaja Tai Munde captivated an audience of thousands with her Urdu poetry. This deep connection with Urdu can be traced back to Gopinath Munde, who instilled a love for Urdu literature and inclusive politics in the people of Beed.

Similarly, when Jaydatta Shirsagar delivers speeches in Urdu, it feels as though a native speaker is addressing the audience. He is well-versed in hundreds of Urdu couplets, reflecting his deep appreciation for the language. Likewise, leaders such as Suresh Nole, Dhananjay Munde, and Amarsinha Pandit  , Ashok patil , Rajni tai patil often use Urdu poetry in their speeches, demonstrating their admiration for the language—an encouraging sign for Urdu’s future.

During our journey, there was a temporary halt after 2014, but amid the global COVID-19 pandemic, "Tameer" regained its strength, adapting to the new digital era. With online platforms such as our website, PDF editions, WhatsApp groups, Facebook, Instagram, and other social media channels, Tameer reached over 70,000 readers worldwide every day.

Beed, known as a fertile ground for journalism, now hosts 35 Marathi dailies, two Urdu dailies, and one Hindi daily in 2025. Encouraged by this thriving media landscape, we launched our Hindi daily, "Bharat Ki Tameer" in 2024, under the Tameer Media umbrella. The newspaper carries the same mission and vision as its Urdu counterpart, Tameer.

In this era of technological revolution, AI tools like ChatGPT have helped resolve various media challenges, benefiting Tameer Media as well.

Serving humanity and respecting all individuals remains our core mission, and we will always need your support at every step of this journey.

Join us!

Let’s walk together, hand in hand!
Yours sincerely,
